Can I replace my smoke detector with any smoke detector? - smoke detector wiring

My old smoke detectors on the wall in connection with a black and a white wire (and a red wire is attached). Can I smoke detectors and wire the same way?

Replace a detector which is programmed with a backup battery. This is necessary in some areas. I'm not sure how the fact that it is mounted on the wall, if not 4 inches from the ceiling.
The thread is a connection between multiple sensors on like this, if they all go. I like the combination of carbon smoke alarm.
If the detector continues to gently vacuum ring.

Should be the rule. Better read the packaging of the new smoke detectors and to determine whether there are two wire detectors. If you run from a battery as a job unsafe. However, unless an alarm system connected smoke alarms are fairly standard in the wiring so. Simply read the box, and if you do not know to ask for help.
