California Headset Law California Hands Free Device Law Applicable To Minors?

California hands free device law applicable to minors? - california headset law

I know that in California it is illegal to use on your cell phone while driving, if you use a hands-free - like a Bluetooth headset or wired headset. But someone told me is that minors (under 18) are prohibited, a cell phone while driving in general use, meaning it is not even allowed to use handsfree while behind the wheel. Does anyone know if this is true? I say this because my niece turns 16 based on 12/29 and will soon begin to drive, so I thought, with a Bluetooth headset to get her on her birthday. Thank you!

Is you should get a Bluetooth connection to your niece and make it as safe as possible, he believes his niece did not like all the other years and 16 years will be using your phone while driving is naive. Anyone who tells you "You should be ashamed to ask this same question is stupid.

Yes, that's right. Minors may not use a phone, even with a speakerphone.

You should be ashamed to ask the same question. Even if it were legal, why did you give him something that your car, turn on, especially when new and inexperienced is?
