Depends on where I'm hijacking, but most is used Kleenex, while in the shower, I Just Let It Go down the drain. Sometimes I rub just before entering the shower and sometimes swallow the evidence.

Cleenex is probably the best choice. A sock or similar is dry and not very hygienic.
